Consider the task, Configure Content of Business Process System Notifications. In your System Notification’s subject line and body, you want to include a dynamic field that returns the business process event’s subject (e.g., the worker the event is about). You see that such a field isn’t automatically available.

How would you build a calculated field that returns the BP event’s subject?

Solution:

Create a Lookup Related Value calculated field on the Event Record Business Object. Select a “Return Value” of Subject.

You can then use this CF within the Configure Content of Business Process System Notifications task…
